"Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works." —Steve Jobs, 2003

Welcome

Photo Editing Senior Picture

I offered to help my mom out with my brother's senior pictures. We set out to borrow my aunt's fancy camera and trapsed through my backyard to a pleasantly shady spot. Using a sheet as a backdrop for most of the pictures taken, I started snapping away. We actually had a blast doing this - probably the best time my brother and I have had together in a long time. Once ready, I took the images into photoshop and started color balancing, tweeking and doing my magic. My brother got a lot of very creative photos to share with his friends.

Displaced Reflection Technique

I'm always trying to learn new ways to enhance my personal photography in order to fine tune my skills so I can produce them for my clients. I took a photo and practiced the displaced reflection technique I learned from Photoshop User Magazine. If I were to choose over, I would pick an image that didn't have leaves like this on it. In my personal opinion it doesn't mesh the best with the water reflection.

Wedding Photo Correction 1

The bride in this picture is one of my favorite clients to work with. She was my first freelance project when I started in 2008. She came to me with images that were too dark and needed brightening up so she could show them off to her mother-in-law who wasn't able to see them yet.

Wedding Photo Correction

This image is one of my favored ones to show off since it also shows off my skills of "erasing" undesirable areas. In the original, the wind had blown hair in the face of the friend.

Wedding Photo Enhancement

Going through the photos, I was inspired for this one. I thought it would make the perfect wall hanging or framed art when a simple wedding/love poem was added.
